¡Densetsu no Danshi 5ya
¡Danshi Tatekawa 7th
Description
[Machine Translation] This is a collection of recordings of the footsteps of Danshi Tachikawa, who sadly passed away in 2011. Tatekawa Danshi left behind many legendary performances during his lifetime. In his later years, Danshi gave masterful performances at Yomiuri Hall (Shibahama), National Engeijo (Hitorikai), and Yurakucho Marion Asahi Hall (Bokkou), where he gave his first performance. One of these performances was the "Five Nights of Danshi" held at the National Engeijo from March 11 to 15, 1995. This was a yose variety show that was realized by Danshi, who was in his late 50s, by calling on a wide range of performers who were members of his troupe or with whom he had a relationship, and was a major event that attracted the attention of the entertainment world. This time, the recording of "Five Nights of Danshi" stored at the National Theatre of Japan was brought out of the library and put on CD for the first time. The CD contains remastered, high-quality audio recordings of the legendary "Five Nights of Danshi" including Danshi's performance, Yuriko Haruno II's ronikyoku, which Danshi greatly admired, and the banter between Danshi, Kankuro (Kanzaburo XVIII), and Fumio Takada. Also included for the first time is a bonus disc of "Curiosities" from the National Theatre archives.
