¡Showa Rokyoku Meien Shu
¡Traditional Japanese Music

 Description
[Machine Translation] This is a sumptuous disc featuring all the masters of "Romikyoku," a popular form of entertainment that flourished in the postwar era. Rokyoku" was the king of popular entertainment during and after World War II. Especially, Torazo Hirosawa II performed "Jirochoden" in which Ishimatsu Mori sings "Sushi kuida ne ne, Kanda no natte de ne" (I want to eat sushi, I was born in Kanda), which was easy to understand for everyone. The thriving world of ronikyoku produced many popular ronikyoku songs loved by the masses, from veterans to young performers. These were the people who were later called "Meijin" (master performers). This collection contains the 18th repertoire of these masters. This is the first collection to be released on CD.
