[Machine Translation] The Shoro Club's golden album, the highly acclaimed "Takemitsu Toru Songbook," is now complete with 13 additional tracks! Shoro Club" is a string trio composed of Ou Akioka (bandolin), Shigeharu Sasago (guitar), and Joji Sawada (contrabass), and in July 2011, they performed the songs (pop songs) left by Toru Takemitsu (1930-1996), a great contemporary musician, with seven vocalists (Ann Sally, Sizzle Ohtaka, Yuichi Ohata Yuichi Ohata, Chie Sawa, tamamix, Mio Matsuda, and Takashi Matsudaira), and released it as "The Takemitsu Toru Songbook. The Shoro Club spun the thoughts that the contemporary composer entrusted to "songs," also known as pop songs, with vocalistas, and since its release, the album has been listened to as a masterpiece. In 2020, the album was moved to the BETTER DAYS label and released as a complete set of all the songs, including live recordings, with additional unrecorded material. Miyuki Hatakeyama and Yuuga joined as vocalists, and Shuntaro Tanikawa, one of the most famous poets of our time who worked with Toru Takemitsu on many of his works, participated in the live recording. The striking cover photo continues the use of Tetsuya Fukui's photographs from the previous release, and two additional shots of Toru Takemitsu and Shuntaro Tanikawa are taken from Shozo Kitashiro's photographs (from the collection of the Taro Okamoto Museum of Art).
