 Description
It's a documentary that traces the Beats, centering on Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and William S. Burroughs, from the mid 40's up to the deaths of Ginsberg and Burroughs in 1997. Johnny Depp, John Turturro, and Dennis Hopper interpret the works by these three writers (as Kerouac, Ginsberg and Burroughs, respectively). The film chronicles their friendships, and their cultural impact on all sorts of movements and artists, including musicians and composers.
