Description
[Machine Translation] This is the first volume of the serious anime masterpiece "Ryu the Primitive Boy" written by manga master Shotaro Ishinomori. The original manga by Shotaro Ishinomori was serialized in Shonen Champion as an ancient version of "Ryu no Michi" (The Way of Ryu). The anime version does not feature the science fiction setting of the original work, but instead depicts the adventures of a boy living in a primitive world. Kazuo Komatsubara's gekiga touch drawing and Mataji Urata's rough touch fujutsu drawn with a painting knife are impressive.
