[Machine Translation] This is the 51st volume of the "Furusato no Mindaori" (Folk Dances of the Furusato) series, which consists mainly of traditional folk dances under the supervision of the Japan Folk Dance Federation (JFDF). To contribute to the spread and development of Japanese folk dances, 10 songs are selected each year from each prefecture, and sound and images of folk songs and dances from each region are produced based on field surveys, recordings and archival materials to discover and preserve the buried Japanese folk dances.
