Description
[Machine Translation] Live album recorded at the 52nd Regular Concert held in January 2017. The band performed the much talked-about Mackie's "The Wine Dark Sea" in its entirety. The theme is Odysseus, the hero of Greek mythology. The band also performs "Fantasy and Fugue on the Name of Bach," which won the gold prize at the 2016 All Japan Wind Music Competition, in its entirety. The "Prelude Applause" performed at the "Toshio Mashima Memorial Concert" held on the same day of the regular concert is also specially recorded, and "Bay Breeze" performed as an encore of the regular concert shows an unexpected aspect of the Godai brass band. This album fully demonstrates the ability and expressive power of the brass band, and includes all of the unique aspects that only the University of Shinto can achieve.
