¡Bach: Keyboard Works[Limited Release]
¡Gustav Leonhardt (cembalo, organ)

 Description
[Machine Translation] Gustav Leonhardt (b. 1928, Holland), a great figure in the world of classical music, was once described as "a modern-day Bach" by the famous French composer Bruggen. He recorded J.S. Bach's solo keyboard works and two harpsichord concertos on harpsichord and organ for Harmonia Mundi and Seon (SONY CLASSICAL Vivarte) in Germany, and this is the first box set of 20 discs! This Japan-issued box set covers Leonhardt's recordings for Deutsche Harmonia Mundi and Seon during the quarter century from 1963 to 1988, a valuable and important period in his long career. The boxed set also includes a number of discs that have won the prestigious Edison Award and several awards from the Recording Arts magazine, which not only enhances the quality of the individual discs, but also makes the boxed set even more significant. Includes Japanese language commentary. This is a Japan-only edition.
