Description
Based on the original story by Leiji Matsumoto of "The Galaxy Express 999," this full-fledged science fiction animation (42 episodes) was broadcast from March 1978 to February 1979 on the TV Asahi network. This long-awaited Blu-ray box release commemorates the 45th anniversary of the TV broadcast! Included as a special video feature is "Space Pirate Captain Harlock: The Mystery of the Arcadia," which was shown as part of the 1978 Toei Manga Matsuri. A 64-page (subject to change) booklet featuring a new interview with Rintaro is also included. Outer case.
