The production of this album was inspired by Dennis Bowell's visit to General Echo Reggae Disco in Walthamstow, London in 2018. His interactions with the people he met there sparked a project to dig up some of his rare recordings. After many years of searching for records, selecting songs, and overcoming difficulties such as the Corona disaster, the album "Sufferer Sounds" was finally completed.
