Description
The legendary Jidaigeki (period drama) series was originally aired in 1972. Based on the book by Saho Sasazawa, the show was directed by none other than Kon Ichikawa, one of Japan's most acclaimed film directors. It follows the adventures of Monjiro, a traveling samurai with a trademark long toothpick who stumbles upon all sorts of troubles. Contains episodes 1 through 18. A booklet included.
