The boy who drives it is Tsuyoshi Mifune, a young man who dreams of becoming a Grand Prix racer. His eldest son, Kenichi, was called a genius racer, but is now missing. With his elder brother as his goal, Tsuyoshi participates in various races under the watchful eyes of his parents, his younger brother Kurio, a chimpanzee named Sanpei, a mechanic named Sabu, and his girlfriend Michi Shimura. Tsuyoshi faces many races and difficult incidents, but overcoming them, he grows as a true racer and as a human being through the Mach car built by his father. Contains 52 episodes.
