Description
[Machine Translation] Starring Yukio Aoshima! The much-talked-about film, which was produced by making full use of Aoshima's gag and special effects techniques to tell the story of a real railroad worker's career, has finally been made into software for the first time in 60 years since it was broadcast! This is the story of a young man from the countryside who loves trains and joins the Japan National Railways, where he lives a life of wild abandon, eventually rising to the position of Shinjuku Stationmaster. Based on the book "Ima ni Mite Ore: The Life of a Former Shinjuku Stationmaster" by Keitaro Kenmochi, who retired from JNR after serving as Shinjuku Stationmaster, the film portrays a man who couldn't get enough of trains, jumped into the huge organization of JNR, and lived a freewheeling life with the developing railroad system. A hilarious drama about a man who loves trains so much that he jumped into the giant Japan National Railways. Contains 13 episodes. Commentary enclosed. First broadcast: May 9 - August 1, 1964 (TBS)
