Description
Blu-ray release of the war film "Rengo Kantai Shirei Chokan Yamamoto Isoroku - Taiheiyo Senso 70 Nen Me no Shinjitsu -" starring Koji Yakusho. The story centers on Isoroku Yamamoto who was a Japanese Naval Marshal General and the commander-in-chief of the Combined Fleet during World War II. He strongly opposed outbreak of war and the conclusion of Tripartite Pact between Japan, Germany and Italy in 1940 to protect Japan contrary to public opinion. Comes with two bonus discs featuring special TV program, making-of, event footage and more. Also includes a booklet and a mini script. *The DVD disc is encoded for region 2 (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and no subtitles are included.
