As a result of her exhaustive search for a marriage partner, she meets Koichiro, a handsome lawyer from a good family. Her marriage to Koichiro is finalized and it seems like smooth sailing... On the other hand, Miki, who studied hard and was admitted to a prestigious university in Tokyo, moves from Toyama to Tokyo. She works in the nightlife industry to earn money for the school, but she cannot afford the tuition and eventually quit the university. As a college classmate of Koichiro, Miki meets Hanako, who lives in a different world...
