¡Theatrical Play
Description
Beginning with the phrase "Mendokusai" (meaning "What a hassle"), this production tells another story set in the "Blue Prison" Blue Lock universe. This spin-off of the hottest and most outrageous soccer manga is adapted for the stage, with performances in November 2025 and June 2026 and is now available on Blu-ray. Returning from the previous entries in the series, popular cast members including Ryohei Takenaka, Ryono Kusachi, and Nobunaga Sato appear once again. The leading roles continue to be performed by Takamichi Sato and Shuji Kikuchi, reprising their characters from the earlier production. The story follows Seishiro Nagi, a second-year high school student living a dull and uneventful life, whose exceptional talent is discovered by Reo Mikage. Through the intense selection trials of the "Blue Prison" Blue Lock, Nagi encounters Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Rin Itoshi, and other strikers gathered from across Japan. Winners shape their future, while losers are eliminated. On the pitch where everything is taken by force, Nagi experiences frustration for the first time. That sting awakens a desire to become stronger, and the ego sleeping within him bares its fangs. In the second selection and the intense three-on-three Rivalry Battle, ego and bonds are put to the test. The challenge toward his dream leads this prodigy to a world he has not yet seen. "Meeting you is what gave me a dream." The Deluxe Edition includes Disc 1 with the stage play "Blue Lock -EPISODE Nagi-" and Disc 2 with the stage play "Blue Lock -Re EPISODE Nagi-". The bonus disc (approx. 90 min) features making-of footage and a collection of curtain calls. A booklet is included, and the set comes in a slipcase.
