Produced by Yoshinobu Nishizaki, and directed by Hideaki Anno. The story set in the year, 2199. The earth is attacked by the troop of the mysterious planet Gamilons. The ground of the earth is plluted by radioactivity, and human refuge to underground, but the dark city is gradually threaetn by pollution, too. Army of the earth is degfeated by Gamilons, and it seems the earth is at the risk of destruction. - untill Queen Starsha of the planet Iscandar sends a messege saying she has a special device to remove radioactive contamination. In order to obtain the device to help the human being, Space Battleship Yamato go for a long voyage to the planet Iscandar Set includes seven discs, "1/700 Space Battleship Yamato kit" (40cm. Newly made by Bandai Hobby), 24-page liner notes, and a special box.
