Description
This "World Masterpiece Theater" anime is based on "The Story of the Trapp Family Singers" by Maria Augusta von Trapp (based on her own life). The book was made into a Broadway musical, and Robert Wise's classic film "The Sound of Music" starring Julile Andrews (as Maria) was also based on the same story. Like the movie, the show is set in Salzburg, Austria. Contains episodes 25 through 28. Optional Japanese subtitles available. (No English subtitles.)
