Showa My Little Town KAI BAND
Japanese Movie (Documentary)
Description
[Machine Translation] In November 1970, the live music club "Teruwa" was born in Tenjin, the central district of Hakata. For local youths who played music on the streets or in parks, this stage, only 10 cm high, soon became a place of great longing. Since then, many artists who established the Japanese music scene have been born here, and the name of this legendary place has become famous throughout the country. One of the bands that symbolize "Teruwa", "KAI BAND", performed for three days from April 9, 2010 on the stage that can be called their "origin". This was their first professional attempt to return to their roots, as they celebrated the 35th anniversary of their debut. To capture this historic live performance, eight cameras were used to film the event in a limited live space with seating for only 60 people. This film is a live and documentary film featuring this precious live performance footage, behind-the-scenes footage of the band members, and interviews with Kazuomi Chiba (Kaientai), Tatsuya Moriyama (THE MODS), Takanori Jinnai (THEROCKERS), and other artists from "Teruwa". Directed by Fukatsu Masakazu, one of the hottest video creators of the moment. The narration is by actor Nao Omori.
