Description
[Machine Translation] The famous novel by Hiroyuki Itsuki was adapted into a special drama series "Seishun no Mon (The Gate of Youth)" with a splendid cast including Kyoka Suzuki, Etsushi Toyokawa, and Goro Kishitani. Set in the Chikuho coal mine in Kyushu in the 40's, the story depicts the way of life of the people living there and the growth of a boy who inherited their blood. This is a director's cut version with additional scenes that were cut from the TV broadcast, which aired on TBS in March 2005.
