 Description
When he made 'Assault on Precinct 13', John Carpenter set out to create his own remake of one of his favourite films, Howard Hawks' Rio Bravo. With a miniscule budget, Carpenter's creativity and originality transformed the 'Rio Bravo' type simple plot into one of the best urban action thrillers ever filmed. It also became the precursor of his own later hits 'Escape from New York' and 'Escape from L.A.'
