¡Bach: Kantata TEN No.16
¡Classical V.A.

 Description
[Machine Translation] The Bach Foundation Orchestra and Choir of St. Gallen present their 16th cantata cycle, BWV 30, a cantata for the feast of John the Baptist, first performed in 1738. BWV 158 is a short cantata for the third day of Easter, titled after the words of the risen Jesus to his disciples, "Peace be with you. The form reportedly used may not be complete, and in this performance Lutz's own hand-played sinfonia is used as a prelude. BWV 9 for the Sixth Sunday after Trinity is a work from 1732-35. Recorded in 2014/2015, it sets Luther's doctrine to music, and from the first piece we hear a beautiful chorale and melodic intertwining.
