Description
First Japan, then the world! Fumihiko Sori, the man that brought you "Appleseed," returns with the ultimate sci-fi action anime film. At the start of the 21st Century Japan takes the lead in life-extending bio technology and robotics, only to dominate the market. However, when it's discovered that this technology has world-threatening potential, the UN places massive restrictions on the tech. Should Japan follow the restrictions or choose to fly it's own flag . . . that decision turns into the great sealing of Japan in 2067. Utilizing the utmost of its technology, Japan shuts off the rest of the world and begins to work under a veil of secrecy. Ten years later, an American special forces soldier named Vexille is tasked with invading Japan, only to be surprised at what she finds.
