Description
First Japan, then the world! Fumihiko Sori, the man that brought you "Appleseed," returns with the ultimate sci-fi action anime film. At the start of the 21st Century Japan takes the lead in life-extending bio technology and robotics, only to dominate the market. However, when it's discovered that this technology has world-threatening potential, the UN places massive restrictions on the tech. Should Japan follow the restrictions or choose to fly it's own flag . . . that decision turns into the great sealing of Japan in 2067. Utilizing the utmost of its technology, Japan shuts off the rest of the world and begins to work under a veil of secrecy. Ten years later, an American special forces soldier named Vexille is tasked with invading Japan, only to be surprised at what she finds. Special edition includes deluxe box, sleeve case, special disc with interviews, trailers, making-of footage, and bonus HD-DVD format version of the film.
