Description
Ryunosuke Kamiki and Mugi Kadowaki star in the film "The Sun (Taiyo)" directed by Yu Irie. The film is based on the theatrical play of the same name performed by Gekidan Ikiume. Set in the early 21st century where the population is decimated by a virus. By this virus, human beings were divided into two kinds or dead. One of them is Nokusu who were infected with the virus. They became sensitive to solar light and are active during the night. The other is Kyurio. They survived but were never affected by the virus. Now Nokusu discriminates against the Kyurio as archaic humans. The story centers on two Kyurio, one wishes to be Nokusu, and the other hates Nokusu and tries to improve livelihood of her village. But one day an incident occurs and it changes their lives dramatically.
