Description
A film adaptation of the novel "Mamorarenakatta Mono Tachi e (To Those Who Were Not Protected)" by Nakayama Shichiri, winner of the award "Kono Mystery ga Sugoi! (This Mystery is Amazing!)". Directed by Zeze Takahisa. The main character, pursued as a suspect in a serial murder case, is played by Sato Takeru. This edition comes with a bonus DVD featuring event footage and making-of plus a special booklet Outer case packaging. Plot: A series of inexplicable murders occur in which people are forced to starve to death while being tied up all over their bodies. What comes to light in the investigation is a man named Tone who has just been released from prison after serving time for a past crime. The detective Tomashino pursues Tone, but without being able to find definitive proof, next case is about to occur. Why did he kill in such a cruel manner? What happened in Tone's past? As various thoughts and feelings intersect, the sad and shocking truth behind the incident is revealed...
