¡Happy Family

 Description
[Machine Translation] Happy Family, one of Japan's leading avant-rock bands with a strong overseas following, is releasing its first new album in 10 years! Since the release of their last album "Minimal Gods" and their European tour, the band has been in a state of complete inactivity and could have faded out at the worst possible moment in the last decade. After 10 years of rehearsals, the band's ensemble, aside from a decline in individual performance ability, has responded well to the new songs that have been prepared for this release. The new songs were composed smoothly. The album's title "40" is a reference to Cuneiform's "37," which represents the number of years Happy Family has been active. In the case of Happy Family, however, they have been inactive for more than half of the time. This album is the first attempt for the four members to contribute one song each to Cuneiform Records and to express their congratulations to Steve Feigenbaum, the owner of Cuneiform Records, and their gratitude for the opportunity to reunite with Happy Family. What is even more unusual is that all the songs were recorded without ever being performed live, and "Isshu" was completed only through file exchange. Two bonus tracks are included as download codes.
