Description
[Machine Translation] Akihiro Nishiguchi FOTOS" is the first album by Akihiro Nishiguchi FOTOS, a band formed by Akihiro Nishiguchi, a leading saxophone player in the jazz scene. Members of the band include pianist Hakuei Kim, drummer Sota Kira, bassist Marty Holoubek, and trombone player James Macaulay. Singer Merinda Dias-Jayasinha also appears as a guest on one track. This is Nishiguchi's first album as a leader in about seven years. The songs are all Nishiguchi's original compositions, and the sound played by musicians from across the border is full of originality and energy, a mixture of pop and avant-garde.
