Description
DVD release of the award-winning anime feature "Kappa no Coo to Natsuyasumi" from director Keiichi Hara. One day just before summer vacation elementary school student Koichi Uehara gathers a large rock on the way home from school. Washing it off at home, he discovers a baby Kappa inside! Since the first thing it says is "Coo," Koichi calls him Coo. Speaking the same words as Koichi and his friends, Coo tells them the tale of his entrapment in the center of the earth for hundreds of years. Though his family is at first suprised, Koichi's parents allow him to take him in--just as long as they keep him a secret. DVD includes three minutes of previously unreleased footage. This edition includes bonus disc with special feature on the film, deluxe booklet, and three-fold box.
