¡Book Of Life

Description
[Machine Translation] The vibraphone flutters freely in the air. Following the acclaimed previous album, "Book of Life" is a story that draws out the maximum potential of the vibraphone and connects conflicting images to complete it. Following on from the first two albums, "Book of Life" is released on Erased Tapes, a work that pursues the fascination of the vibraphone as a unique instrument. In addition to cello, violin, flute, and other instruments, this album features the chorus group Shards, which includes Peter Broderick, Hachisnoyt, David Allred, and Nils Frahm, who also participated in the new Nils Frahm album. The songs are created from conflicting images and approaches: human sounds against animal and nature sounds, orderly compositions against improvisational compositions, and so on. The lead single "It's Magical" is inspired by the image of "a man who put artificial wings on his arms to fly like a bird before the invention of the airplane. It is a somewhat fragile and faint image, but full of big dreams and hopes. It is a work that echoes the music of Midori Takada, who is being reevaluated, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, who released a new album last year. Only the Japanese version of the album comes with a download code for the bonus track "Candle.
