¡YOU Tachi HAPPY Eiga Ban Himawari
¡Japanese Movie

 Description
[Machine Translation] This is a feature film that originated from the radio program "YOU DARU HAPPY," in which TUBE's Nobuteru Maeda is a radio personality. Maeda, who experienced firsthand the problem of depopulation in rural areas during his live tours around Japan, teamed up with director Tatsu Sugimoto, who worked on "Mirai Nikki", to create a film with the theme of regional development. Set in Nasu-Karasuyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, the film blends documentary and narrative in a realistic depiction of the people and scenery of the region. --Yuka and Yui, two high school girls living in Nasu-Karasuyama, participate in the launch of a community FM station that is to be established to boost the town. While searching for material for their program, they learn that the local "Yamaage Festival" is suffering from a serious lack of supporters. The two work hard to solve the problem, and the town revitalization project they set in motion gradually grows in scale as people become involved. The two high school girls at the center of the story are local high school students selected through an audition held in Nasu-Karasuyama, with Shunsuke Daito as Natsuo, who helps run the FM, and Takara Sakumoto (Wrath) as Ryuji.
