Description
Connor & Murphy McManus are Irish Catholic brothers from Boston. After killing some Russian wise-guys, they decide they might as well get rid of all evil men in the city, feeling that it's God's mission for them to rid the earth of all it's scum (shades of the Blues Brothers?). Hyped by the public, the Boondock Saints set out to do their divine deed. The screenplay is nearly flawless, and the production values are topnotch. Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus are both excellent as the 'Saints', but Willem Dafoe as the FBI agent on their trail really steals the show.
