Description

This documentary film follows his project to visit and perform at four of his grandfather's buildings: the Kyoto Culture Museum Annex (Kyoto), Okurayama Memorial Hall (Yokohama), Renesse Hall (Okayama), and Karakoro Kobo (Matsue). Directed by Hans Fjellestad, who directed the documentary "Moog" about electronic music pioneer Robert Moog. In addition to the performance at the Upeiji Nagano building, the film shows Marcos Fernandez making field recordings in the area he visited and interviews with experts on the building, conveying the history of the building and the local community and its relationship to the past and present.
