¡Arvo Part: Live
¡Classical V.A.

 Description
[Machine Translation] This is a collection of works by Part, an Estonian composer who is popular all over the world. In his early compositions, Part wrote in the neoclassical style of "B-A-C-H thematic collage," but from the late 1970s, when "Ode to Britten" was composed, he gradually changed his style, using more religious motifs and simpler sounds, creating what he calls "tintinnabuli style. He used many religious motifs and simplified the sounds he used to create his own style, which he called "Tintinabuli style". This album includes works for orchestra and a series of choral works, including some rarely heard pieces. Conducted by Peter Dijkstra and Ulf Schirmer, each work is performed with great intensity. Recorded in 2005, 2011, and 2000.
