[Machine Translation] Katharina Cornaro, a tragedy about a 15th-century Cypriot queen, was one of Lachner's most successful works and was often performed, but disappeared from the stage after its Munich premiere in 1903. In the 21st century, however, a new edition by Stuttgart editor Volker Tosta brought this production to Munich, where it was performed by outstanding singers and captivated audiences.
